The Vision Behind ENTV

Hi there, my name is Eric Odom and I’m the Director of Programming & Development for Square House Creative, the parent company of EPIC Nomad TV. We could put a canned explanation of what we’re all about here but now that I’m tasked with managing all content for ENTV I want to make it a little more personal.

ENTV is the brainchild of a group of nomads with a passion for exploration and the stories that are given birth as a result of it. We’re all living a nomadic life in one way or another and we love to visually depict these stories through high end media production.

In early 2017 it was mutually determined that there is a niche void in the entertainment world. Yes, there is a lot of “travel” related content on TV, but not full time nomadic content. There are plenty of productions out there covering destinations, but few cover the journey between destinations. And even fewer tell the story of those who live life without destinations through a full time life on the move.

So the concept of a sort of “mini-Netflix” style network with a full suite of nomadic content began to take shape. The anchor product of the platform is a feature length motion picture titled RV Nomads. This 110 minute cinematic journey explores the full time RV movement, those living it and what it means to truly unplug from the grind society pre-determined we’re all supposed to live in. It’s an EPIC story to tell and we’re telling it in a big way through the film.

Now that the infrastructure is coming together for RV Nomads we’re able to begin working through building our slate of episodic programs to distribute through ENTV. While ENTV does not fully launch until late summer of 2018, a beta version of the platform will begin rolling out in January. This means we have a LOT of work to do, a ton of content to produce and a mountain of stories to tell through film.

We’re building a unique platform that benefits everyone involved. For content consumers there will be a whole new world of shows and movies to consume once the campfire is put out each evening. For content producers there is a new audience to reach and new financial opportunities in exchange for the work it takes to tell these stories. For us we have a business model that fuels and empowers us to continue making even more content.

We’re travelers. We’re nomads. And we’re storytellers. It’s a great team to work with and if you feel this might be a family you can fit in with… we may want to talk with you! I would love to know what your vision is, more about your story and how you live your life on the open road.
